About
One person, in Porto, who wrote the thing he's selling you.
I'm John Pinheiro. Madverti is one person by design: the person who built the quoting engine is the person who loads your rate card, and the person who picks up when a number looks wrong. There's no account manager, no junior, and no handover — because there's nobody to hand it to.
The software
I've written software professionally for five years — custom development, and support work on infrastructure other people had already built and had to keep running. The engine on the home page is mine end to end: the intake, the extraction, the tier logic, the document. It isn't a wrapper around someone else's product with my name on it, and the demo isn't a mock-up. Bring your own site note to the call and watch it run on that instead of mine.
The sector
Madverti's previous engagement was a multichannel recruitment campaign for an HVAC engineering firm here in Porto — around thirty staff, commercial engineering work, seven vacancies, delivered in full and paid for. They're unnamed on this page because I haven't asked their permission to use their name, and I won't borrow it until I have.
That work was hiring, not quoting. What it gives you is narrower and more useful than a testimonial: I already know how a firm like yours runs — how the work actually lands, who's on site when the paperwork is due, and what happens to a document that has to be produced after a full day on the tools.
Why quoting
It's the document that decides whether a £50,000 job is profitable, it's usually written late at night by someone who has been on site since seven, and its failure modes are legible — a missed unit, an unread data plate, a pipe run nobody measured. That is a problem software can genuinely solve, which is not true of most of what AI is currently sold for.
The obvious question about one person
You're buying a system, not my availability. So the fair question is what happens when one person is ill, on a plane, or gone.
Your quotes don't stop when I do.
The engine runs unattended — site note in, quotation out. Setting it up, tuning it and answering you is my part of the work; producing the document isn't.
One working hour, or the month is free.
That guarantee is this question answered in writing, and it has no exception in it for my calendar.
You can leave after ninety days.
Not twelve months. Your rate card, your quotation template and every quotation produced come back to you in full, in formats you can use without me.
You're invoiced by a registered business.
Madverti trades as a registered sole trader in Portugal, with activity declared to the tax authority and a written contract behind the work. Not a person with a payment link.
Being among the first two
I take two clients at a time, and you'd be one of the first two. That's why the founding setup fee is half, why the commitment is ninety days rather than a year, and why the guarantee is written the way it is. You're carrying more risk than the tenth client will, and it's priced. The full reasoning is on the pricing page.
Bring a job you quoted last week.
You'll learn more about whether this is real in fifteen minutes than from anything else on this site.
