Book fifteen minutes

Bring a job you quoted last week.

Not a discovery call. Bring one real site note and I'll run it live, and you'll be looking at a quotation for a job you already know the right answer to. That's a far better test than anything I could tell you.

What to bring
One site note, in whatever state it's actually in.
A voice memo transcript, three lines in a text message, a photo of a page from a pad, a forwarded email with no punctuation. The messier the better — a tidy one tells us nothing. Nothing to prepare, nothing to fill in.

If it's got a customer's real name and address on it, that's fine — redact it or don't, it's your call, and nothing from the call is kept.

The fifteen minutes
0–2What you quote, how many a week, who writes them up.
2–8Your note goes in. We read the flags together first — that's where you'll know whether it understood the job.
8–13You tell me where the pricing is wrong. It's on a sample rate card, so it will be — what matters is whether the structure is right.
13–15Yes, no, or not yet. If it's a yes, the proposal is with you within the hour of us hanging up.

Or just send it

Forward me a site note at john@madverti.com and I'll send the quotation back with the flags, no call required. If you'd rather see the output than talk to me, that's the faster route and I'd rather you took it.
